Senior Manager, Compensation Advisory

We are currently hiring for a Senior Manager, Compensation Advisory role for one of our direct clients a leading financial institution.

The Senior Manager will work closely with the Director, Compensation and will play a key role in the design and implementation of total compensation programs that support the organization’s strategy and business unit objectives globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and build new total compensation designs
  • Interact with external compensation advisor during the plan design process
  • Implement the plan design along with the HRBPs
  • Provide strategic advice on compensation-related matters to the HRBPs
  • Lead projects related to market intelligence activities on a global basis
  • Perform compensation modelling
  • Partner with Finance on quarterly compensation forecasting
  • Lead the annual compensation cycle
  • Participate in the development of compensation reports and recommendations for Human Resources Committee review and approval
  • Provide advice on all global mobility related matters

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expert knowledge in Compensation with a focus on governance, design and implementation
  • University degree in a related discipline or equivalent in experience and education
  • 6 to 10 years of related work experience in a bank or financial institution or consulting company, with a focus on Global Compensation
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and senior management; experience with Board relations an asset
  • Superior organisation skills with a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a complex environment, managing multiple priorities and time constraints
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • A team player, high results orientation, independent self-starter
