Job Title: Senior Sales Executive

Job Brief

The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for providing prompt, courteous and knowledgeable service to existing and prospective clients. The Senior Sales Executive is expected to meet and exceed personal sales objectives by managing a network of contacts through which prospective clients are obtained.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify new business prospects and build an active, high potential prospect list
  • Maintain a high level of service to existing clients; maintain the client relationship from contract execution through delivery to after sales service and future sales; and soliciting referrals and testimonials from these clients
  • Use company CRM to maintain accurate and up-to-date records with respect to sales and prospects and maintain record of client communications and contact information
  • Achieve quarterly/annual sales objectives
  • Close and grow sales through professional communication with existing and potential clients
  • Manage and interpret requirements – speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs
  • Prepare responses to RFP (request for proposals) and RFI (request for information)
  • Develop Statements of Work as part of client contractual agreements
  • Identify and resolve client concerns; recommending a course of action by engaging to alleviate these concerns
  • Expand market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating features and benefits of our products and services effectively
  • Participate in corporate marketing activities, such as conferences, trade shows and open house and client hospitality events, as required
  • Maintain awareness of pertinent client information, future plans, payment performance; communicate any client information that may affect company decisions to appropriate departments as needed
  • Keep up to date with cyber security vendors, technologies, industry regulations and business drivers
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor products and identify and report intelligence on competitor pricing or marketing strategies
  • Maintain current  product and service knowledge
  • Submit a variety of sales status reports as required, including activity, forecasts, closings, follow-up, annual plans, and performance reports
  • Perform other essential duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to close sales to achieve performance in alignment with goals and objectives
  • Knowledge of current advertising, including digital media and sales promotion techniques
  • Knowledgeable about security vendors, technologies, industry regulations and business drivers
  • Excellent knowledge about ’s security services offerings
  • Experience working with CRM tools
  • Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Self-starter, results- and success- oriented with the ability to follow through on commitments
  • Proven solid analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all departments
  • Strong presentation skills and professional appearance
  • Motivated and creative team player
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment
  • Ability to occasionally travel and attend sales events or partner events
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle

Work Experience/Education Requirements

  • 5+ years experience selling cyber security services or complex security solutions such as SIEM and Forensic technologies and services
  • Business and/or IT related Degree or equivalent experience
  • Industry experience within finance, insurance, legal, healthcare, retail, resources, energy or real estate desirable
  • At least one of CISSP, CISM, CISA considered an asset
